About The Procedure
When stubborn fat just won’t budge, CoolSculpting is a real solution. Stubborn pockets of fat can be more difficult to lose despite diet and exercise. CoolSculpting’s patented fat-freezing technology gives long-term results that make trouble spots a lot less troubling.
Fat cells don’t like the cold and at a certain temperature, and they will freeze. Because fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues, the treatment is safe on your body - but tough on stubborn fat. Once the fat cells are frozen, your body will naturally eliminate them over two to six months, resulting in up to 20%-25% reduction of fat in the treated area.CoolSculpting results are long-term, as treated fat cells are gone for good.
Freeze away fat? It comes down to science. Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. Coolsculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.

What to Expect
During your treatment, a gel pad and applicator is applied to the target area. The CoolSculpting® applicator delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat. During the procedure you may experience sensations of mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, and stinging at the treatment site, which subside as the area becomes numb. During your procedure, feel free to read, check email or even take a nap. Most patients experience little to no downtime after treatment.
